My Argentine B&W tegu and his smiley face marking

Hey is this marking common in tegus? He is an argentine black and white. I think it looks like he has a little amish guy or like someone wearing a cap n gown on the back of his head.

And a question about all of his markings... Do they usually stay or change throughout age?

I wouldn't say its common but a lot of people find different things in their tegus markings. As for whether or not they change as the Gu gets older,...no. They're just like finger prints they stay the same and each one is different from the next one :-D .
