So this is my new buddy chillin with me in the boss's office. It's a slow day at the museum. He scarfed down a bunch of crickets this morning like a champ. I love him so much already, this is going to be a beautiful relationship . . .

He actually belongs to the kid's museum I work for (my parents donated him to replace our recently deceased corn snake), but since I'm the animal curator I'm the one who takes care of and plays with the reptiles. And I'm the one who is raising/training the tegu, so I feel like he's mine. :)
