I recently bought a tegu after months of research. When I picked him up, he was about 10 inches and the owner said that he didn't know how old he was, but that he has had him for 5 months. He told me that he has been in brumation for about 2 weeks, with refusal to surface or eat.
I was told that even during brumation, they should surface to eat every 5 days or so. It's been nearly 3 weeks, and I am kind of worried about him being so small and refusing to eat. I have offered fruits, eggs, pinkies, meal worms, veggies, etc with no avail.
Should I be worried?
What should I do.
