Um your tegu needs to eat meat. I really don't know what to tell you. His diet should not be comprised of only fruit. That's a bad idea.
Some animals have food preferences, but your comments lead me to believe that something may be wrong with your husbandry practices. If you want to try a good food product try crawfish. Here's the breakdown:
Nutritional data for Frozen Whole Crawfish (Procambarus clarkii)
100 g edible weight:

As you can see, they are high in protein and low in fat. Check out the FDA website when researching food products.

Have you tried cutting the mice open so he can taste the blood and maybe you could try some roaches. Or try a ground turkey ball with fruit mixed in it and see what he does.

Considering it's a Columbian, I would be really concerned that he isn't eating much meat. They are known to be primarily carnivorous, granted this doesn't mean some won't take fruits, I just think it may be a warning sign for some problems down the line.

that's really the opposite of my colombian. I will put meat and little pieces of fruit in my meat chopper to get her to eat fruit.

as like redtail said you may have to cut'em a little (smell of blood).
