New tegu! Hibernating?

So I just my chacoan from Johnny today at teguterra.com and I have to say, he's pretty awesome. My only question is he seems to be more interested in burrowing then he is eating. I know that it's time for him to be hibernating, is there anything I should be doing? Should I keep offering food or should I not. Also, if anyone has any name suggestions for him let me know!

I guess I should've said that I will keep offering food daily but how long should I leave it in the cage?

I would probably ask Johnny about it. He probably knows if your guy was already in hibernation. If he is then I don't think you need to offer food at all. If not then maybe he's just adjusting. It's only been a day, he might not be hungry yet! =)
