I have kept many reptiles over the years from simple Anoles and Garter snakes to an Albino Burm and a very nasty Iguana I adopted from an abusive owner. I am interested in the Red Tegu and Extreme Giant Tegu and cannot decide what one I want. I was wandering if Tegus are ok with additions over the years or would I be better off getting the Red and the Giant together, didn't know if they get aggresive towards adding any new Tegus to the enclosures. I have been doing much research on these and have wanted one for a long time, but the more I read the more of them I want. I do have a feeling this may end up being my new addiction :woot .

As far as housing together, it depends on the individual tegu. Size of the tegu should also be considered, if they are relatively close in size you can try to house them together but be prepared to house seperately. Even those that are raised up together may not always be able to live together.

Ok now atleast I have a good idea that I may need a second enclosure I can make them slightly smaller instead of 1 really big enclosure. :doh Now comes the hard part deciding if I want the Red Tegu or the Extreme Giant. :bang
