Peat moss help!

I'm building a pin for my tegu so she can hang outside during the day. I wanted to make sure the peat moss i'm using is ok. Its called Sphagnum peat moss, by greensmix. I'll post a link to the site so you guys can check it out and let me know.

I used sphagnum moss when my tegu was a hatchling. It worked ok and is safe for the tegus. Are you planning on using it in the hide or as a substrate? I wouldn't use it as a substrate.

He's using it as a substrate, for his outside pin. It's just so she can hangout, outside for a while. It should be fine right?

Why wouldent you use it as substrate?

Its probaly just fine as a substrate. I have no substrate in my feeder enclosure, that's where ingestion/impaction issues can ocurr.

I guess impaction occurs a lot in the wild with tegus because they are messy eaters.

The problem with this substrate as odd as it sounds it hold moisture to well! When your tegu pees in it, it doesn't go away lol
