Picky Baby Tegu and Purple Tongue?!

Hello I made a post about my tegu not eating a month ago and now he eats for me 3-4 times a week. He is very picky with what he eats though. He’s not a fan of insects. He will only eat ground turkey with kiwi and collard greens inside, eggs, raw egg yolk, and some salmon. I read that tegus are garbage disposals but mine doesn’t seem to be the case. Also the tip of his tongue is slightly blue/purple does anyone know what that is? Basking is 115-120, ambient is 85, humidity is 75-90 percent. Enclosure is a 4x2x2.

Collectively, tegus are garbage disposals but individually they have varying food preferences. He'll benefit from a cooler (70s F) hide on other end of enclosure. Not sure about the tongue tip.
