Anyone have any advice. Ive heard a lot of people play with their buddy after its eaten some. Also is morning noon or dusk a better time?

I think handling is easier after feeding, sometimes my tegus are grumpy if they've got empty bellies. Usually I feed guru in the enclosure (not everyone reccomends this) but sometimes when he's out roaming ill toss him a rat or fish fillet.

Thats great rhet, I toss him a rat or fish filets, just sounds funny, picturing a child following you around asking for an ice cream pop or something.

Before or after doesn't matter,.. but sometimes they're easier to handle and you're less likely to get bit when they're young after you feed them.

Mine are not on a specific schedule but they're handled before, during and after feeding.

Hahaha sometimes it feels that way! Thankfully he's not a messy eater, otherwise I don't think it would work.

Have some pinkies on the way, have a feeling my little guy will be, the way he'd shake the eggs or turkey, or anything, all I could say was it's already dead lol.
