Pre-hibernation pics

So Its been a little over two months since I got my argentine black and white tegu on August 18th 2009. At first things were shaky, as they usually are but this little tegu has quickly become a close companion. He is very tame and is very mellow. I couldn't ask for a better lizard! Here he is. He was about 9inches when I got him and now he is around 13inches. He is going to be hibernating real soon so I wanted to show you some pics of him. Not alot of growth rate but I think he will hit his growth spurt in the spring. Enjoy!

I like the basking spot, what all did u use to build it ?

That is a very nice basking spot.

The basking spot is just a large flat rock on bricks with driftwood going towards it. Although I removed the driftwood so the tank looks a little bare but I plan on buying more.
