Question about hatching dates?

I have been researching about tegus for awhile now. I'm curious about when tegu's breeding seasons are. I'm used to snakes having definitive breeding seasons where there is a lot of information pointing to specific months when babies are birthed or hatched. I am not having the same luck with tegus. I would like to buy a baby tegu but I'm not sure what month tegus are typically born in. Specifically black and white argentines. I found some info saying that mating usually occurs in winter but how long would it take for the females to lay the eggs and how long until those eggs hatch? Basically, if I want to purchase a baby in the future, what would be the best month to start searching?

You will see babies become available june-aug. sometimes there are some before then and a little after that as it depends on when the parents ended their hibernation etc. From copulation to lay is 3 weeks, and then egg incubation is 72 days.

There are sometimes tegus a little bit older that are available throughout the year. Best bet is to contact the major breeders and ask them when they expect to have animals available.
