Rodents as a staple

I was wanting to get some advice from more experienced tegu keepers. I have lots and lots of frozen rodents and I was wondering if I could feed them to my tegu as a staple. I would/do feed him rat pinks because they have no fur so I don't have to worry about compaction. Anyways, would it be a bad idea to feed my tegu (who isn't hibernating and still wakes up every morning) a rat pink 4 times a week?

When my female red was younger I gave her 2 pinky mice everyday. I also offered her fruits and everything just to be sure, but she mainly ate protien. So as for me I dont think it would be a bad idea. just make sure to feed other things also

I agree, he needs more in his diet, but rodents are good.
