Avoid Bay Area. I have had a problem with him. He doesnt back up his live arrival guarantees. As far as Satanics, unless you get a guy getting out of his colonies the "season" has past on them. Id say wait til next year and get the cream of the crops. Be sure to rehydrate them and inspect them well. Avoid gravid females as well. I use to have a few. Great animals to work with. I had a difficult time rearing the young though. As always, dish out the extra bucks for CB. But I would wait til next year when the days are cooler. With that being said, especially dont buy from Bay Area. Hope that helps, anymore questions feel free to ask.
I usually see the most fresh imports available around february I believe? There is a good gecko forum with people who are glad to help. I believe its geckosunlimited.com. One of the guys on there imports his own Uroplatus. Also, dont overlook the ebenauis they are pertty neat creatures too. I like all the Uroplatus lol. Satanics are just cute little devils. If I ever purchased the underrated U. lineatus I would name the male pinocchio lol.
