Shaking foot

I have had this gloden tegu for two weeks I have noticed every time he is sun bathing his right front foot keeps twitching. He walks on it just fine.

Up his calcium and dust all his meals. Also check them van if you start to notice it spread to other body parts bring em to the vet try and get a video of it and post it

I have calcium with d3 I have been feeding him mice and chicken hearts that are dusted and raw eggs he wont eat the shells.

He is two years old about 3 feet head to tail he is in a 40 gal wide not sure of the dimension two 100watt uvb and a 60watt basking bulb. Im using repti carpet the humidity is only 50 percent humidity.

If it looks like that, its due to a cal diffenciency. Did you say hes in a 40 gallon? thats tiny.
Also,ditch the d3.

Alright thats fair. The calcium with d3 can cause problems if used to often.

Thats probably the problem they have been using cal powder with d3 all his life.

I dont think its a huge deal just be sure to feed a high amount of whole prey, and use plenty of calcium without d3 . Ive heard of some people using osteo form for reptiles as its cheaper than reptile brands.

Cool thanks he just downed to rat hoppers and I bought the cal without d3.
