I have a quick question that got me thinking.
I've noticed that alot of you mention that your Tegu's slow down, either right before going into hibernation, or just slowing down in general instead of hibernating.
My question is when they "slow down" are you bothering or interrupting them by still handling them in that state?, I ask because wouldnt that the best time to have contact with them without them really being active if you have a flighty gu / would they tolerate you more ?, does it disrupt anything within them?
( or would that only be ok for a tegu that just slows down and doesnt hibernate )
