Spring growth

This is such a fun time of the year. Beside grass growning fast, this time of year it is amazing to watch the growth of Teugs and monitors.
Every day is a deja vu experience. I walk past the enclosures and almost fall over. It is daily, "wait a minute, that isn't the lizard that went to sleep last night!" Peeking through the substrate is a head that looks 40 times larger than the one that I tucked in last night.....or at least it seems that way.
Eva has grown about 3-4 inches and Kinabo my Black Throat has grown almost 10" in a little over two months. The growth rate this time of year is truly amazing to watch.

i agree. my Extreme Louie has grown close to eight inches since he woke up. it is really amazing to see how much of a change they go through

Ditto it'll be nice to see how or if Natsuki fills out. He's old enough to where he has slowed down growing length wise and might just get chunkier. Although he has grown two inches since Sept,.. not bad for an older fella . He's still putting in work.

While Eva is still under a year old, she is bulking up and putting on length in body. She is looking a little jowly as well...sooooo I may be looking for anew name as well. I will post pictures in a couple of days.

I cant believe how much they eat. My extreme woke up about a month and half ago and has been putting on weight every week. Its a non stop eating machine right now with no end in sight.

It's is quite amazing how fast they grow. My 2011 extreme has shed 4 times in a month and a half!
