Very hard to say. Brumation/hibernation is a factor of the environment as well as the animal, so this is going to play a part in what is happening. Right now is the appropriate month for tegus to start emerging from hibernation in many areas of South America, but they don't necessarily all come out at once, even in the same region.

Need some informationhow old is the tegu, how long have you had it, where do you live, what is temps and lighting in cage, whAt months has he been down?

not sure of age, bought from snakes at sunset but id say 8 or 9 months give or take. ive had it for 6 months, live in illinois. hot side 110 and cool side 80 humidity 75% with 95% down in the burrows. and been brumating since the day i got her
