I'm not sure where the post went for stuck shed on a tegu thay I said I'd post an update on, but vitamin A & D cream worked quite well. As far as tegus that dislike moss goes I tried some timothy hay and they lined their burrows with it and pile it up to sleep in. Just watch for mold.
