Stuck tegu problem, need help

A couple of days ago my one of my Tegus (good sized) managed to break the cover off of the only exit in my reptile room, he then slipped out the hole. He did this while I was getting ready to give him a shot, so I was letting him roam around that room like he usually does.
The next day I found a dig spot under the ramp on my house. No other sign of him, but my fence is pretty solid (specifically because I have reptiles) and I didn't think he could get out of it.
I found him today, under my deck. He seems to be stuck there, the lattice is much to tight for him to get through.
I broke it off in a small section and put food and water in a cage he would have to walk into to get out from under there.... but I cant seem to lure him out. It's too tight for me to squeeze in there myself and he is a bit spooked and won't come to me for the food right now.
I'm not sure what else to do to get him out. Any ideas?
And yes, he will be totally locked down after this.
He may also be a she.

That sucks, but at least you can see him. If I were you I would remove whatever lattice is necessary for you to crawl in there and grab him/her out. I would be worried about him escaping through some hole he could find under the deck. I don't think that luring him out is going to work very quickly, because like you said, s/he is spooked and is probably not thinking about food.

Kind of looks male in that pic, big jowls from what I can see.

I'm torn, sort of. My first incination is to noose him and be done with it. I clicked 'like' on DD's suggestion of fresh meat for the feint of heart.

So- If not so flighty when you approach and tou know that he's hungry, offer his favorite food in front kf him where tou can then pick him up. If not, noose him. Your judgment.

DD-I'm with you. Jowls scream of male.

Ahhh. third option. If you can see him now as he sleeps, crawl in and get him.

Good luck.

I've got some red meat that's he's always trying to get into sitting out with a good variety of eggs. I think he's gone to sleep for the night though.

I was thinking it was looking male, or beefy female. Only 6 pounds though so I figured I'd know for sure before too long.

Ive removed what I can, but the biggest issue is all that concrete down there. You csnt see it in the picture but he is angled towards several huge pieces and there is no way I can get to him there, pretty sure it's where he is sleeping, I've heard him scratching around over there a few times. Luckily I don't think there is any way for him to get under the house from there, the deck was a later addition and the original stairs are still there, that's what he's sitting on.

Pick what seems most effective.

If I cant draw him out I may have to noose him tomorrow. The concrete down there makes it impossible for me to reach his sleeping spot.
He's a picky eater too, so hopefully the foods I offered he is always after but I don't let him have are enough to get him out. Save us both some stress.

Still under there.
Trying to get him out of his hiding spot with some water, then herd him around with some nets and things.
Weirdo Hates water, unlike my others.
No interest in the food, of course, it's difficult to get him to eat as it is.
Going to buy some gizzards or liver, cod liver oil, quality eggs and fish. See if some stink gets his attention. Just close enough to grab, I'll take the stitches I'm sure I'll need.

Yea your better off noosing him seriously he will be fine they have very strong necks just tie one and lightly tape it to a broomstick or whatever you can find that's long enough to reach em.
