swollen vent

my tegus vent is very pink and swollen.. its not a prolapse though. a very smelly liquid comes out when i pick him up. his belly is blown up and he has not eaten in 2 weeks. im guessing this is an infection. i may take him to the vet tmw.. anyone deal with this before or know what kind of antibiotic will work best... as my vet is not a herp vet.

I believe that baytril can be used for herps as an antibiotic...make sure he calls some herp colleagues though. It sounds like your tegu is really sick.
