Tegu has not shed in over a month

Hello,
The tegu "Bender" has not been shedding for quite some time now. Is it common for tegus to slow down with shedding during the winter when its getting a bit colder? I have been feeding him well with salmon with cod liver oil, large pinkies, his heat+lighting and humidity has been fine, and although he is small for his age and still showing some yellow/green (about 5 months), he is still active, eating every two-three days, and growing. Everything seems healthy about him, but he isn't shedding. Just want to know if this is a problem.

i think your tegu will be fine since it is slowing down that can cause it to stop growing as much as it should be after spring comes im sure it will go back to normal
