ok so for some reason my tegu smells! i clean his cage and it is kept tidy! i change his water daily and i give him a bath once a week and all of a sudden last week he started smelling! has anyone else had this problem! please help! :cry:

Tegu smells funky! Please help!

I have one tegu that smells around her head area. She gets food and mulch dust and well...gunk...caked in the corners of her mouth. She's pretty gentle, so I just take a moist paper towel and clean around her jowl wrinkles and really get into the corners of her mouth. It's pretty nasty. If she's in the tub, I'll use just a tad of ivory soap for her wrinkles.
