Think we are going to need a Bigger Boat.

I have just found out my Loki is a male. He is only 8 months old and 3 foot long. As males grow a bit bigger than females. I'm planning ahead and buying him a new home. My question is should I buy a six, eight or ten foot tank now. Or hold back until he's a bit older to judge the size he needs? Cheers.

Four feet seems to be about the limit for them. I'd start building. Remember that turn around room is important.

Thanks mate. Will do. He's in a four by three by two. At the moment. Seems happy enough. But don't think I'll get six more months before he outgrows it.

Generally the bigger enclosure you can get, the better. But im not sure where you'll be able buy one. Most are all built custom

A 6x3x3 is bare minimum, but if you have the space, always go bigger.
