Well the drama continues with storm and rayne, now they. Have become very active over the past 2 days, I'm talking about constant pacing, they we're out today til about 10:30pm even though lights went out at 9, when I go near the cage rayne gets a bit antsy, she acts a bit confused, like she dosnt know if shewants to hide or approach me(she has approached me today smelling me then rushed to her hide, then came bk out to check me out before rushing bk) she finally shed today which was a bit stressfull I know because the skin was so thick I had to poke it with scissors, she was trying hard on a rock but after a warm bath she got almost every bit off, now on to storm, idk if its those terrible 2's or what, he has been jowl popping everytime I come near the cage, I can see him basking normally but as soon as he notices me I see those jowls rapidly moving making that popping sound I know very well, he attempted to bite me twice today(yes lunging mouth open) once while in the tub and once while in the enclosure(both times I was attempting to pet him, they both have been off food for about a week and a half now, storm ate a few turkey gizzards and sweet potatos today, they have been drinking a lot of water lately, humidity is good at 40-60% before and after a misting, temps could use a bump from about 90-95* basking, poop is solid, I guess its time for me to deal with those terrible 2's I guess, sombody pray for me lol

Man terrible two from those two, good luck! Maybe its just the weird winter weather? I don't know about Chicago but here in Cali it got almost summer warm the last week, my poor tegu is very confused.

I think the weather is playing a part, itsbeen in the 50's and 60's the past few days, I think breeding season is playing a part too, I let them roam today, storm pooped and from what I can tell decided to "mark" my floor he walk around a bit bragging his butt, but his tail was kinda turning side to side, then he started back walking normal, I'm bracing myself I know this isn't going to be easy with 2 large hormonal beasts lol, just hoping I don't get bit in the process[/u]
