UVA/UVB Lighting Question

Hey guys,
I am new to this forum and would like to greet all of you here! I have 3 ball pythons which I am currently breeding, and my girlfriend surprised me with a Chacoan Giant Tegu for Christmas! I was so excited. She got him from Teguterra and is very healthy, active, and eating well. I named him Thrain (from the Hobbit). I have him currently in a 4x3x2 enclosure with cypress mulch and sphagnum moss as bedding. My only concern is the lighting. I have a heat emitter on the cool side just in case it gets too cold at night, and I have a PowerSun 100W MVB on the hot side. Will this single bulb provide sufficient UVA/UVB rays for my tegu?

P.S.
I will post pictures of him soon!

Power Sun is all I used when I housed my Herps indoors. Great call on going with it - I'd either use power sun or solar glo. Looking forward to seeing those pics.

I use the uv bulb that my son swiped from the heat lamp at KFC. My tegu has a healthy golden brown color.

Do you all suggest a fluorescent fixture with a reptisun 10.0 across the enclosure and a heat lamp on one side or just one Powersun bulb on one end with a CHE just incase it gets cold at night ? I'm trying to go the cheaper route but also not a route that may endanger my tegu. I live in so cal if that helps for an idea of our weather.

I used a SolarGlo MVB on one end and two 4' ReptiSuns on the other end.

Quick Question for you guys (I will be posting pics of my tegu/enclosure soon!!)
What are your tegu's lighting schedules? I emailed Johnny LaRocca from Teguterra and he usually does 8 hours on, 16 hours off (8am-12pm on, 12-4pm off, 4-8pm on...). Thoughts?
