anyone hear good things bout varnyard tegus or have problems with the payments or recieving you reptiles from them ?? i made a down payment and have heard nothing back from them at all . anyone else??

It was suppost to be here for the 2011 clutch i ordered it back in march and in june he told me they were in the incubator and it would take 58-62 days and its WAYY past now. with no reply to tell me how much the next payment would be or anything. and i ordered a Red male tegu.

I read on here somewhere the Reds are supposed to hatch in November, I'm not sure how true this is though. I would be persistent in calling and emailing Bobby until you get an answer.

As far as I know they should hatch in late summer. However, I have spoken with a breeder before and he said for some reason the red tegus are actually harder to breed. There could be some difficulties outside their control. But like James said keep trying to contact Bobby

it is kinda strange how nobody seems to know whats going on with the reds, with the black and whites and extremes it seems like at least everyone thought they knew what was going on??? i hope all is well

Bobby talked my mom into reserving a tegu AGAIN so im pissed. He called underground reptiles frauds and johnny larocca from teguterra a fraud..... I dont like this at all. I was planning on buying a hybrid redxblk and white from underground reptiles

He's a nice guy when he wants to be. He calls them frauds because he thinks he's a tegu god and that you should only buy from him. I've purchased from him and Johnny larcocca at teguterra and the quality, in my experience is just the same. I get along better with Johnny because I'm actually allowed to speak my opinion when we're talking over the phone, whereas when I talk with Bobby I tend to have to agree with everything he says. I hope all this varnyard reds trouble gets sorted soon.

On a side note, pics of my collection will be up tonight when I'm back from uni.

Apparently the chlorine in the water killed the baby tegus in the eggs. Thats what he said at least. Im still getting a red and white hybrid from underground tho.

Those paraguan reds are they hybrids? I can't find out I'm trying to make friends with underground on facebook to find out

Nope Paraguayan reds are just your same old red tegus just a name change and slight color difference really.

neither did i just a lil confusion, im seriously considering one though especially since the price got lowered
