Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I posted on here. I just went into my reptile room and was dumping a box of crickets into my cricket tank. From behind me I hear this rapid banging in my cage, and look back and Gator was twitching/tremoring violently from the back legs to the tip of his tail.
It lasted maybe 10 seconds top, almost like a seizure. Then he walked away and went under his hidey shelf. He's peeking out from under it but just kinda watching me.
He's had his UVB, and he's getting calcium dust on his food etc. when it's not whole prey he eats (man that little lizard got huge FAST and can gobble a rat faster than a greased bullet).
My question is....since he's had proper light, calcium and D3 dusting...what could have caused this? Could he have gotten startled and triggered a seizure? I mean I DID kinda just barge in the room and start rattling stuff around.
His cage mate is fine and seemed a little freaked out though.
