So I've noticed a lot on this forum that people wash their eggs. What is the purpose of this and how is it done? Thanks in advance.

Think about what area of the body the eggs come from. All the surrounding bacteria can be transfered and possibly compromise the integrity of the eggs.

Our 12 year old some harvested some of our Blue Tegu eggs after I told him not to. Those eggs are very dirty looking and it wouldn't come off. The white ones I did.
