Yep. They are hard to maintain in captivity and very few keep them. Shame, they're a gorgeous species.

Who even sells this type of lizard? Is it something that permits are needed for? Looks pretty cool though.

I've seen quite a few lately on KS and man are they expensive.

I doubt if Bert can raise snails. I just see old moldy fruits and frozen chickens
