My wife checked in on the new tegu and he was gone!! She said if he ever got out of his cage she would kill it. My 7yr old daughter was able to calm her down. Told her Stumper was under the substrate totally hidden. Thank God for smart kids. LOL

Well, some people are scared of tegus just like i am of tarantulas. if my boyfriends tarantula got out, i'd either get him, or squish it. i dont like bugs that i know are roaming in my house...its a weird phobia
