It is a Banana pectinata, it is one of the Spiny tail iguanas. They also get very tame, I took that picture at Daytona this year.

The banana pectinatas are a color morph of Ctenosaura pectinata. There has been some interest in breeding these in the private sector in the last few years and some folks have been quite successful at it. The males average about 3 1/2 feet in length usually and can become quite docile. Females are a bit smaller and a bit duller in appearance.

I already own a wonderful older male banana pectinata but more are on my wish list. The one that I currently own is the one pictured at the top of this website. He is a senior now and doesn't look quite as robust but he is a sweetie and attends most of our educational presentations still.

I posted a pic of him with one of my C. bakeri in a thread about Ctenosaurs.

I have a pair of English Bulldogs that cost $5,000.00 for the both of them.Worth every penny. They are both fixed so no breeding.
Good dogs with good ancestry are expensive.

On my wish list is a pair of Monkey Tailed Skinks.
I am on Berts list this year for a pair.I should get them sometime in March if all works out.
Although he won't be able to sex them as babies I will take two and see what happens.

That's a pretty good price. A son or daughter of "Gotti" directly costs about 7k for pick of the litter. Gotti and Razor's Edge are so expensive, that even great grandsons and granddaughters are 5k for pick of the litter. 5th choice is still 3k each!
