Zilla hates her oil bath

Zilla is haveing a bad shed, so I wanted to help her with it. It was recomended to me that I use vitamin a&d lotion, which I just used. She absolutly hated it. She didnt bite me, but she sure faught hard to get away.

My questions are, after I apply the lotion, do I put her back in her cage? The lotion leaves her really sticky, and everything will stick to her.

And will this set back the taeing process? She probably hates me now.
