Hi everyone. I just got my B&W juvenile and he keeps running back and forth in the tank. Think he’s distressed?
Hi. Found this forum when research behaviors. Hoping to compare my cupcake to others in the same hemisphere. Just out of curiosity. :)
Hello! We are a new member and excited for advice and tips. Nigel is 5 months old, I also have a bearded dragon, and a leopard gecko.
Any advice on feeding juvinile tegus around 5-6 months old she doesn’t really have a set amount or time she eats I was wondering if it’s ok?
This is Oswald (Ozzy) he is new to me and from TegusOnly. He is very shy right now never coming out, but his appetite is picking up a little
Hi Walter, I responded in the hibernation page. I am not super familiar with the navigation on this site. Perhaps you could review my post and give me some feed back?
Hey! Can someone give me some info on why my tegu has been sleeping for 5 days straight and hasn’t eaten?!?

Most likely brumation. This is not a full hibernation.

From my research some Tegus do this while others do not.

Lower temperatures will influence this behavior.

Check your temps and see if you need to raise the temperature during these Fall/Winter months to prevent this.
Hey Walter1!!! Where is everybody? Do you know why I'm not getting anymore alerts in my email that tell me about new comments, or new owners? I just realized I haven't gotten anything for several weeks I think. I've missed you guys.
