    Agentine tegu or savannah monitor?

Re: RE: Agentine tegu or savannah monitor? Usually doesn't drop under 60%. After misting it can get to 80% but it drops after an hour or 2. Its under a ceiling fan, so I have 2/3rds of it covered. via mobile

    Agentine tegu or savannah monitor?

I have a savannah and she was way more tame than my tegu is currently, even when she was under a foot. And that was with extremely minimal handling while young. She was never a crazy, psycho like Samson is. And she has only bitten me once, because I pushed her out of way when trying to get her...

    Tegu food

My 18" teg can eat small fuzzies...they are easier to eat since his head is still too narrow for the larger ones. via Tapatalk 2

How many feeds a day ?

I usually only feed once a day, but I feed until they get full and start ignoring food. The tegu & larger monitor will be ready for more after a couple hours, but I am only able to feed twice a day on the weekends.

General Food Inquiry - Online Ordering, Etc...

I see that many of you order from Hare Today... Where else do you get your tegu's food from? I have a local source where I get frozen mice from, but in regard to other whole food items...what would be best? Could I get certain things from the local Asian "markets" around here? Or would...

Possible Water Inhalation-What can I do?

I believe my tegu inhaled water accidentally. I saw he was drinking water as I walked out of the kitchen, he already had his head up & looked at me, then preceeded to drink more water. I was carrying a duffle bag with me & bumped into the table, which made a fairly audible noise....which...

Anyone know a good carpenter in Tampa,FL area?

Sometimes I just type in key words on Craigslist. Like: reptile, lizard, aquarium, enclosure, tank....and maybe combine them : lizard tank, reptile supplies, etc.... As for the carpenter thing...I'm not sure...but where I am, I pass this house where he makes all sizes of dog houses & sells them...

Anyone know a good carpenter in Tampa,FL area?

I have seen a good number of large (tegu sized) enclosures available on Craigslist. Some people build them & others are getting rid of them. They usually have them priced decently too. via Tapatalk

    Samson - Feeding Tub

Today he was eating mealies & dubia. Other foods I try to dish feed with. Helps keep it a tad tidier...although he shakes everything he puts in his mouth...lol via Tapatalk

    Samson - Feeding Tub

Getting better with being near me, althought he prefers to be fed while free roaming the room. [attachment=5963] [attachment=5964] via Tapatalk

    Substrate question?

Coconut fiber passes fairly well, even if a large amount is injested. Savy monitor gets crazy sometimes & in it goes! via Tapatalk
