    I bought an old dresser 4.5x3 ft for 15 bucks.. tore off everything and bought a thing of plywood two cuts of plexy glass and a crap ton of screws... the whole job cost me about 150 not including the lights and bedding...

    this is my first tegu and I have only had him for less than a week. He doesnt eat much and Im guessing its because he's nervous about eating around me. Also when im holding him he whips his tail and tries to escape. Is it ok that i dont let him or should I just allow him to become comfortable...

    I just got my tegu 4 days ago at an expo.. he is approximately 1 years old.. i feed him a few crickets.. and couple of bites of groung beef.. but he is not really eating alot.. can it be that he was just full when i bought him.. also how often should I feed him (he is about a foot long)
