I'm I the UK and got blue which was sold as a BW last year around October I think, I was told they were captive breed in the UK though.... I got them from Reptacular who now sell advertised blue tegus.

Was wondering if anybody knew if Tegu's can see a full spectrum of light? It's said that snakes can't see green, red and blue light....
Reason for this is that I heat my Tegu using coloured halogen bulbs as there long lasting and get temps spot on. I use strip lighting for UV.

Mine was the last Tegu they had from a breeder they know. They also breed themselves but I'm guessing blues are pretty few and far between over here so many are not realising what there selling or indeed buying...
Awesome!!!! Was sold as a high white black and white, I only paid £150 for the the little thing which is very cheap for shop prices in England!!, fingers crossed its a female as my other half who is holding the gu in the pics has a male.
