Hello! So an update lol. Kaa you were right! So the tegu was a gift to me from my dad. my dad was going to be the main caretaker for him because i was like 11. We did a pretty good job for about 3 years. He was always a little feisty but not mean (never bit me, sometimes hissed. attitude issue...
ugh my 3 moth old tegu just wont hibernate. :bang we have at least enough room (12 inches) to dig. in the day he is burried, i come home, there he is. we have turned off his light at 3 30 pacific time instead of 8 00. its driving me crazy. he just wont. so if any one can help please do. ps...

make a poo box. when he poos put it in his poo box. wait until he poops again and put that one in then take the first one out. then repeat that. he should learn soon enough. if that doesnt work then give him a short bath befor you take him out.
