6.5' x 4' Queen bed enclosure? Reasonable for male b/w?

Hi, As i live in a high-density area and dont have a lot of floor space, am hoping to fit an enclosure under a queen size loft bed. The one I am looking at seems it would accomodate an enclosure thats about (could be a few inches over) 6.5 ft long by 4 ft wide (max 6.6'x 4.3'). Alternatively, if...

24/7 Free Roaming Tegu, but still has Accesses to an Enclosure.

How did you train them to use it? Place them there when they start to go, make them stay there til they go, or what? Learning training methods

24/7 Free Roaming Tegu, but still has Accesses to an Enclosure.

How do you have his coming and going vents set up? How do you seal them if you don't want him running around for whatever reason? Also, where and when does he use the bathroom? In his water dish, in a safe area in your house? Did you train him to go a particular place? Thanks!

Grow tent enclosure - with progress photos!

I would definitely reccomend sewing it in to help with durability. Get some heavy duty polyester thread and an upholstery needle. Dont be too intimidated by hand sewing, if your stitches are under 1/2 a centimeter ad max you should be ok, tho somewhat closer is obviously better. Running...

    I’ll Draw your Tegu

This whole thread is so sweet! Im a digital artist too, and yeah your pieces are really nice, esp the vibe; youve also clearly gotten good at simplifying parts of the tegus but keeping distinctive detail. And yeah dont be afraid to charge more! Doing art just for the heck of it is v fun and...

Wait, how do you even dispose of "old" substrate??

I have seen it mentioned that you should replace your substrate every 3 months if its not a bioactive situation, but what are you supposed to do with the old substrate?? I presume dispose of it, but how? I dont see this brought up. I rent an apartment in a city center, so I can't just dump it...

Backpacks/bags to travel with Blue Tegus?

Good idea; My thought so far was to use clear vinyl on the top/front so the tegu can look around, and have mesh on the sides as well as a strip of it along the bottom of the vinyl, so there is clear views on the front and top, somewhat clear views from the sides through the mesh, air flow...

Backpacks/bags to travel with Blue Tegus?

Hrm, interesting! thank you so much for your feedback! I'll try and make a medium pet bag for when they're really young and small, but then figure something out when they are bigger. Since I live in a city center, there arent good places to walk tegus right by my and the streets arent super...

Backpacks/bags to travel with Blue Tegus?

Hi all, I would really like to acclimate my blue tegu to the outside world and take him on walks where he can explore, but still be comfortable. I have looked a lot at different pet bag options, trying to find one that would offer enough room for the tail, have enough ventilation, and be visible...
