She got x-rays and the doctor didn't see anything in particular other than a lot of poop... so she got an enema and has pooped twice since Thursday. Hopefully on the mend.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of the casing but that could be an issue. After she had a prolapse I may have gone to the far extreme of all whole prey (reptilinks are sort of whole food), but perhaps some ground turkey now and then could be helpful. She does get fish oil every time I feed her fruit...

I'll start this off by saying I already called the vet, and they said to just keep soaking her in warm water daily until her appointment on the 8th. It was the first available. I did get on a cancelation list, and if her condition worsens I'll take her to MedVet. She is still passing...
Thanks all, I appreciate the help. She's been awake and eating still. Last year she didn't really brumate much if at all even though I live in Ohio. She was a wild caught Florida tegu, so not sure if that matters. Normally she does poop in her "pool" in her cage.

Well, she must have felt the impending doom of going to the vet and decided to poop this morning (she does not like the vet). I'll still keep an eye on her and make sure I'm giving her fish oil more consistently. If there's anything else let me know :-)

Around this time last year I adopted a formerly wild Florida tegu. She was 18"~ then and is around 32-34" long now, and other than a trip to the vet to get some antiparasite medications, she has been healthy. Her cages are a 3x3' connected to a 2x4', and the latter cage will be a 4x4'...
The vet said she didn't have any infection/swelling and gave her some antiparasite solution (metronidazole?). I upped her temps slightly and she has been doing better this week. She has eaten some fuzzies, fruit, and turkey and done well... thanks for the help.
Thanks Walter, I'll give that a try. I'll go get some frozen mice after her appointment. Forgot to add that she does eat mashed up soft-boiled chicken eggs occasionally.
