yes i got him last January, and when i got him he started to brumate, and then came out and began to grow for a couple months. but around september he went back into brumating and has recently just gotten out.
My temps are a constant 95 degrees on the hot side and on the cold side 78 degrees I use a thermometer in the cage. what watt size bulb should I use? And what should I do to keep humidity in?
How can I increase humidity in my tegus tank I got zoomed douglas for bark and zoomed sphagnum moss. I spray until The substrate is completely wet yet it only is at 40%. I have a 150 watt night heat bulb a 100 watt basking bulb and a 5.0 compact fluorescent bulb.[hr]

My tegu spends most of the day in his hide under the substrate. The only time he comes out is to get a drink of water, he doesn't even it. Is this brumation? And if it is, Is it ok to handle your tegu during brumation?
How can I tame my tegu? I got him last Thursday and whenever he is picked up he begins the tail whipping. And whenever I try to pet him outside of the cage he speeds away. How can I make him trust me. How can I tame him?
