HA! I thought I recognized those mountains in Logan. Those two photos of the marshy areas kinda look like the great salt lake a little.

    We are getting there...

Yes they are defiantly characters. But Angus just had a rough winter with moving and constantly being put in something for moving him across the country was rough for him. and it took him for ever to get to sleep. And during that time, I guess he was still metabolizing calories and he just...

    We are getting there...

Good to hear. Angus is still kinda wishy washy with me. I wonder if the only way he is as tame as he is, is maybe cause he is still pretty weak. But he has been drinking and eating some easy crickets. Hopefully by next week he will be up to pace and I can really get into the taming process...

Ok, thanks guys...I think he will really enjoy a rodent. Hopefully that will get his strength up and I really hope he'll be up to eating something hefty. But I can can already tell a difference. He has been drinking A LOT. Thanks.

Show of Hands: Who's hatchlings are hibernating?

Angus is brumating i guess. I dont know why he wont go into hibernation. Does anyone know if there is any growth effect of not hibernating as far as potential size goes. Because if you have a slower and steadier grower that hibernates and then you the one that doesnt and is always growing...

    Think he is down?

That is exactly the pattern of Angus. Only he wake up around 6. I really want him to hibernate and be a normal tegu. lol

    Think he is down?

It turns out he isn't asleep. Does anyone know why he hasnt gone yet? His lights are on for 6 hours a day I feed him every three days and he just wont go. Is it too late for hibernation? Is there an important detail I'm leaving out?

    Think he is down?

Hi everyone. I know that I have not been on here much as I have been busy. Angus is doing well and he has not come out at all in the last two days. I think he is finaly down for the winter. He had not gotten a good meal in 5or 6 days since the day that he started to sleep. My question is...
