    Shedding

    Is there something I should be doing while my lizard is shedding? It is its first shed with me and I’ve had it since May 1st. I got it as a youngster maybe about 10 inches at most. Should I be soaking longer? Humidity levels are good staying at roughly around mid to high 80s throughout the day...

    Baby Tegu

    My little one ate his first pinky mouse a few days ago and I haven’t seen him come out of hiding in a while. Should I be worried? All my temps are right and he has a schedule for lights... I’m kinda worried, it’s not like him usually to stay hidden. But I usually don’t feed him mice either.

    Age? Baby tegu questions? New to tegus!!

    I purchased my baby columbian a few days ago. It’s very calm and mellow most of the time except when the dogs enter the room it gets nervous. I asked the shop the age and they didn’t know. I assume it’s super young. It likes the bask and climbs up on its log and stands in the corner of the tank...

    FIRST TEGU!! & I Have Some Questions

    I just purchased my first tegu two days ago. It’s a Columbian baby, maybe 8-12 inches long. It’s very calm and mellow. When the guy took the first one out, it bit him. The one I ended up getting did not care, it just chilled out in my hands. So far as I’ve had it at home... it’s very curious...
