Jumping tegu

Recently my little guy (4-5 months) has been running and JUMPING into my hand when I get him out. He used to take a minute or 2 to walk up, sniff and then slowly crawled on my hand but now if he’s at the opposite side of the tank he RUNS and jumps in my hand lol. Any body else ever see this?

Hey Nikki! It sounds like he's def settled in! Lol Mine didn't do that. Maybe the circumstances are different, but I didn't get either of them when they were actually babies. I think it's great. He's bonding and trusting you.

It’s my favorite part of the day now lol he’s just so excited probably just for the food but still
