Hello everyone.

I just joined after hearing about this website on a YouTube video.
I currently own:
1 Columbian black and white
1 Columbian gold
1 Argentine red
1 Argentine black and white
3 Argentine peach

And I am waiting for my local reptile store to get in a new batch of reds. Man I love tegus!

My photos are all on my other device wich is dead right now. I will upload more photos in a bit.
(maybe someone can tell me how to add photos instead of them just being an attachment....?)

Peach!
I tried to get the best shots of the color
You can see the red down the back and that the white isn't really white. Quite beautiful I think. (and my friend thought I wouldn't be interested because they were hybrids)

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Most (if not all) of the reptile stores in this city give me a call when they get any in because they are so rare up here (very few successful breeders and they are all located in Ontario) so when my friend at one of the stores got the hybrids he didn't think I would like them because hes not fond of hybrids. How wrong he was.
In a few more days there should be baby reds in my city! if only I was rich and had a farm I would take them all!

cant wait to convert my bedroom into the TEGU ROOM!! heheheheh

Im sure that the breeder just uses the term "peach" so he doesn't have to say its a hybrid and makes it sound more attractive to the consumer. no matter what its called they are still a crossbreed and they are still beautiful.

The curled up ones are my Columbian B&W and Argentinian red. The guy I bought them from claimed that they had a clutch last year. From what I've heard its not Likely but I don't want to Separate them after this long.

this might help. but yes 100% argentine. the size is a dead give away. they both look male from that pic but red females can be a bit jowel-ey too.
