Hi guys, im so scared right now. Today i noticed that my almost 2 year old red female walked really strange, it looked like the balance wasn't there, i thought she would fall over or something. After i saw this i changed my MVB lamp to a new one and i gave her a F/T mouse. I can't understand why...

After two sheds my red female is starting to look really nice and she's
nice and quite tame after two months of work and patience. My camera sucks but the red is really coming more and more!
Thanks! She's eaten some egg, strawberrys and ground chicken but not so much. She seems really tired, i guess she's tired from all the traveling, so the appetite is not that high, but hopefully in a weeks or so she'll be more active and hungry. I bought 300 adult Dubias the other day and i got...
Thanks Josh, she's great. She's burrowing under the waterdish today and i guess she'll be staying there for a while to calm down, been traveling for a few days so she needs the rest. The good thing is that she seems really friendly and not afraid of people at all.
Pretty good day ;) She (i think) was really active her first hours in the cage, what a great lizard this is. Can't wait for tomorrow and her first feeding. Have your tegus started to eat the first days or can it take a while?
Here's my 4x2x2 for the red tegu juvenile im getting on sunday, im going to add more substrate and try to find room for a humidbox as well. Im using plantation soil and coco chips for the substrate. The temps are 105-110f on the basking spot (using solar raptor 100w mvb) and around 75-80f on the...
Hello all red tegu owners, next sunday im getting a 15 inch big red tegu. Been searching for a tegu almost 7 months (i'm from Sweden) and now my dream will come true, it actually feels a bit strange, in a good way :). I will pick it up in another city and when i come back it will be evening...
Odonata: that sounds like my beardie ,he's crazy when he needs to go and when i let him out to the bath he normally defecates. But i would think that the crazy activity is not only to get out, it's probably the only way to get the tummy going as well (since they don't have that much space to...
Hi, in a few weeks i'm getting a B&W juvie. I want to know if your tegus pick a spot in the terrarium were they poop? My Timon Lepidus always go to the same spot to poop while my beardie does his thing all over the place. Are tegus "clean" lizards in that way?
I guess farm raised, a lot of times, means a captured pregnant female which they let go after she's laid her eggs. So CB animals should be a lot more tame, even as young
Searching for one argentine black and white, red or blue juvenile at the upcoming Hamm expo. If you know any European breeder, please contact me.
Thanks!
Hi, in a couple of weeks im getting a arg. black and white juvenile that's raised in a Argentinian farm. The lizard is only 2-3 months old. Has anyone here experience with farm raised tegus or other farm raised/bred reptiles? I guess a fecal sample would be a good thing to get.
Thanks.
