unfortunatly this will be my last post to you guys.....as tiggy had to be put to sleep on monday.he/she had prolapsed again and it had dried out and become damaged....i am so gutted.....but its what's best for them is'nt it?at least he/she is'nt suffering anymore.....RIP Tiggy x x x x
hi there....just a quick update on my little guy.when i last posted things were looking a lot better.....but then we had a turn for the worse...my litte guy/girl had a prolapse.from reading on various sites i was really worried.....people saying they hadn't heard of a happy ending when gu's have...
well this will probably be my last update on this subject.....as my little fella seems to be doing ok now.yesterday he ate a full box of small locust,10 waxworms coated in cod liver oil and some ground chicken.just want to say a big thank you again for all your help and support guys....cheers.
i don't think it's a bad price.....i paid 150 english pounds for my little guy.if they are bringng it to you aswell it can't be bad.probably works out about the same as i paid for mine.i tried in vain to find a breeder here,and just by chance happened to find one in a pet shop(even the guy said...
well he ate some grapes yesterday.....and today when he had his bath he has passed the grape skin and what looks to be a bit of locust......only eating tiny amounts though,but it's better than nothing.....just glad he seems to be passing things ok.he has also been moving around a little bit more...
well just to keep you guys up to date....he has just eaten a locust this morning....he has also had a little walk around.tried him on some ground chicken but he wasn't intrested.i dropped the locust in front of him and he just snapped it up....i'm guessing thats a sign that he is getting back to...
ok hopefully things are looking up!!!!! last night after another bath and lots of belly rubbing he finally started to poo ,then today in another bath and after another load of belly rubbing he really ley rip.some of the poo last night was solid and white with black bits in it with what looked...
spoken to a vet on the telephone.....quoted me around 400 english pounds if it has to have operation..........want all the money up front in one go...........haven't got that sort of cash..........don't want it to be put down..........what other options have i got?????? what else can i do for...

just gone to give my tegu a bath,it appears to have just coughed up poo!!!!! also i have just noticed it can't seem to use one of his front legs....can't get a vet till tomorrow....has any one got any ideas....please
he only had mucus once when i was putting him in the bath.to look at he looks like a healthy tegu......the meat i feed him is raw.been trying to give him oil and fig syrup and a bit of yogurt...don't really want to give him solids and pung him up any more than he already is.

he is nowwhere near 8 weeks,he/she was sold to me as 12 weeks old,i have posted pic 8 weeks ago when i got him(if you look up my threads you will see him)have been told since then from my pics on here he is at least 1 year old.thanks
