We'll see what happens tonka I know hibernated last year and this new one did too but they were housed outdoors. I live in mass so they will be inside but that may make no difference since they hibernated before.

Back up heater where do you get that. I never thought about that, I do have several fireplaces in my house.

Im kinda hoping mines dont go down either this fall, both hibernated this past winter, i got a small space heater from walmart for like $8 kept the room a decent temp, plus i had other reptiles

I am going to bump up the wattages on my bulbs and use ceramic heaters.
