Worried Tegu dads:(

Hello, I’m new to Tegu talk, I’m a little worried about our tegu. Me and my fiancé have a 9-10 month old male b&w tegu, he is a good 14-16 inches with tail. We got him back in December of last year and he has been in burmation since then, everything has been great so far, until today, he had been basking all night and we woke up to some rain and thunder but what had us worried was the was he’s acting… while asleep he started flinching? Almost like a human would do while dreaming, we weren’t too worried at first but then he started jumping around and wiping his tail while attempting to poop… we’re not completely sure what’s wrong, if he’s scared, dreaming or what exactly, my fiancé read that he may have overheated by staying under his bulb for too long… he has a all in one 75W bulb and he did lay under it for quite a long time, I attached some pictures of him, I have video of him twitching and flicking his tail but can’t attach here.

Sounds more like a tail break-like nerve almost. My tegus tail has spasmed all out and he flailed around and even bit his own tail. This happened from like a 8 inch drop though
