Greetings reader!
So, I appreciate you reading this: To start, let me introduce myself. I currently own a harlequin crested gecko, about a year old. His name is Toothless. My end goal of a reptile would be a tegu. I have fallen in love with tegus in quite a short amount of time, and can't see myself without at some point in my life. I just love their personalities!
As I said earlier, I wish I could upload pictures but I don't yet own a tegu.
I am aware that they are a pretty big commitment but I would love to own a tegu at some point.
Any information regarding care, such as the following would be great help: Hibernation or brumation, feeding, feeding schedule, staples of their diet, temperatures, humidity levels, how to hold humidity in a huge enclosure in a dry state like Michigan, and where can I buy healthy and happy tegu for the right price?

Welcome Lapis. Threads abound with helpful advice on all of the topics, except for a Michigan vendor.

Consider Hector's Habitat and Tegusonly, both in Florida. Both vendors are ethical, their animals healthy.
