Last year my tegu started hibernation in october it was its first and it woke up in february now in august it shows no sign of slowing down will he hibernate again?
I feed my tegu 4 pre killed fuzzies a week they are easily his favorite meals. Why do tegus like mice so much? Today my little brother feed him one and it may have been still thawing out should I worry about anything? He ate the mouse like he does normally.
He hibernated for 6 months so that could be a reason im not sure why he liked them for so long turkey gives him loose stool will he be able to digest it better as he gets older?
At a year and a half my tegu dosent eat crickets anymore I knowing this is a sign of him getting older. He still eats super worms and hornworms. He is eating his fruits when I give them to him. How should I change his diet More mice? More turkey?
I cant seem to find it, all the stores are out of it. I use a mix of desert snow and coconut husk for substrate in my tegu's cage. If i cant find it can anyone recommend a new substrate one that be reptile store bought or a mix of two of them
I dont know if this an update but he is barley crickets prefering superworms instead relevent or a sign that he is growing up? Oh and yes the last few days has diet was mainly turkey and eggs were used as a treat.
